Webcasts and Teleconferences

I would like to draw your attention to some Webcasts and Teleconferences - especially because there are a couple of them about IMS and IMS is not that often in the spotlights. IBM actually has a page listing upcoming webcasts and upcoming teleconferences. About the timing, most mention EDT, which has a six hour time difference with Belgium and its neighbouring countries. Most of the time they are organized in the morning so that it's late afternoon over here. Here they are :

• June 19, 2007 11.00AM EDT : 'An IMS overview: The Business value of IMS and SOA'. "This presentation will give you an overview of IMS and how IMS enables you to reuse your existing investment and enhance the SOA journey".
• June 26, 2007 9.30AM EDT : 'The IMS Tools Knowledge Base: The foundation of IBM's autonomic direction for IMS Tools'. The teleconference discusses how the IMS Tool Knowledge Base "improves problem determination and resolution, consolidates islands of IMS tools data into one repository and builds a foundation for better decision-making".
  
• June 27, 2007 11.00AM EDT : 'Accelerate and simplify adoption and deployment of SOA with Rational Business Developer extension'. "This teleconference will show how the use of Enterprise Generation Language (EGL), the language within Rational Business Developer extension (RBDe), can help significantly reduce costs and deliver innovative SOA solutions to the business faster. It lets you quickly and simply develop business applications and services, while shielding developers from the technical complexities of different platforms and middleware".
